Sylvester Groth (born 31 March 1958) is a German film actor and tenor.
He is best known to English language audiences for appearing in Quentin Tarantino's 2009 film Inglourious Basterds, in which he portrayed Nazi Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels.[1]
His first major film role was in 1993's Stalingrad. Groth portrayed Goebbels in the 2007 German film Mein Führer – Die wirklich wahrste Wahrheit über Adolf Hitler, directed by Dani Levy.
