The following three bachelor programs require English, Hindi, Environmental Studies, and Computer Applications along with one of the combinations listed for each:

B. Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, Botany, or Economics. These form a platform for research in fields such as medicine, industry, aeronautics, IT, power sector, computing, animal husbandry, genetics, animal and plant breeding, food processing,… and for maintenance of high technology; also for academic career and career in engineering involving development and maintenance of technology. The available combinations of subjects are:

  • Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics  
  • Chemistry, Zoology, Botany

B.A. offering Economics, Philosophy, English, Sociology, Public Administration, or Political Science. These augment creative and language skills for admission into journalism, mass communication, and management programs; also for academic jobs and civil service. Students are required to choose three subjects. The options are:

  • Economics or Political Science
  • Public Administration or Philosophy
  • English or Sociology 

B.Com. requires the study of core subjects Economic Administration & Financial Management, Accounting & Business Statistics, and Business Administration. The degrees serve as a platform for CA/CS; commerce sectors such as banking, insurance, and investment; induction into academic jobs and MBA.

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a platform for the MBA; managerial and academic jobs; development of managerial skills; campus placement in prestigious companies.[2]
