Sindia (Sardinian: Sindìa) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 130 kilometres (81 mi) northwest of Cagliari and about 60 kilometres (37 mi) west of Nuoro. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,900 and an area of 58.3 square kilometres (22.5 sq mi).[1]
Sindia borders the following municipalities: Macomer, Pozzomaggiore, Sagama, Scano di Montiferro, Semestene, Suni.
