Ridgeway High School is a co-educational, comprehensive school in Noctorum, Birkenhead, on the Wirral Peninsula in England. The school caters for 830 pupils between the ages of 11 and 16, from within the Local Authority (LA) area of the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral. The school is situated in its own extensive playing fields. The Discovery City Learning Centre, containing the Ridgeway Community Library, adjoins the site, where pupils of Ridgeway high school can attend the library in or out of school for more learning in between break times and also luch times.

In September 2004, Ridgeway was designated as an International Business and Enterprise Specialist College, and in December 2007, was awarded a second specialism in languages. Pupils at the school study one language of their choice.

GCSE results

Ridgeway High School's has had outstanding GCSE results over the past years but in 2009 GCSE results showed the school gaining its best ever results of 82% of students gained five or more A*-C grades, an increase of over 20% on the previous year.[1]
