Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is a MMORPG. It continues its crowdfunding through the official site where backers are able to participate in development discussions and roundtables for the game. As of now development of the game officially continues.
Style
Putting a high degree of focus on group-centric gameplay and social interaction, Pantheon introduces a story of pantheons of gods, some of which have fallen in numbers of devotees, tearing the gods from their planar realms, and thrusting them onto the world to live as godkings. These godkings are desperate to reclaim their planar power, and they and their followers will stop at nothing to regain their divine position.
Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen offers many traditional elements of MMOs but is designed from its core to promote social interaction. There will be activities in which the player can do on their own, but the bulk of the content will need to be conquered with friends and allies. A player's biggest asset in Pantheon is his or her reputation.
Progression is slower than many modern MMOs as VRI aims to make content and encounters meaningful and memorable. Combat will be executed by pre-selecting spells and abilities based on player experience and strategy.
