Oonoonba is a suburb of Townsville, Queensland, Australia that is approximately 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) from the centre of the central Townsville business district. It is predominantly a residential area that was once considered isolated from Townsville city. Subdivision development at neighbouring Idalia has filled the void between and has made Oonoonba become part of the urban density of Townsville.
