Nowy Ostrów [ˈnɔvɨ ˈɔstruf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szudziałowo, within Sokółka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus.[1] It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south of Szudziałowo, 21 km (13 mi) south-east of Sokółka, and 36 km (22 mi) north-east of the regional capital Białystok.
The village has a population of 160.
