Miss Texas USA 2005, was held at the Laredo Entertainment Center in Laredo, Texas on June 25, 2004. At the conclusion of the final night of competition, Tyler Willis representing Central Plains was crowned by outgoing titleholder Stephanie Guerrero
The pageant was hosted by Dan O'Rourke who hosted the pageant for the 10th year along with Miss USA 2001 Kandace Krueger-Matthews co-hosting for the first year
This was the first time the pageant was held in Laredo, where it would be staged for the next five years.
