Miss Texas USA 2002 was held at the Lubbock Municipal Auditorium on July 30, 2001,[1][2] At the end of the competition Kasi Kelly of DFW was outgoing queen Mandy Jeffreys and Miss USA 2001 Kandace Krueger.

The pageant was hosted by Dan O'Rourke along with Miss Texas USA 1994, Christine Friedel.[1]
