Mendoza, Texas
Mendoza is an unincorporated community in Caldwell County, in the U.S. state of Texas.[1]
History
A post office was established at Mendoza in 1892, and remained in operation until 1911.[2] Sources differ whether the community was named for Antonio de Mendoza,[3] or a local settler.[4]
