The Legislative district of Biñan, also the fifth legislative district of Laguna, is a newly created district out from the current first legislative district of Laguna which will represent the city of Biñan in the lower house of the Congress of the Philippines.
The President of the Republic of the Philippines signed on March 27 Republic Act 10658, separating Biñan from the first legislative district of Laguna. The cities of San Pedro and Santa Rosa will remain in the first district.[1]
The city will elect its first representative in 2016 elections.
