Kappa Normae (κ Nor) is a star in the constellation Norma. Its apparent magnitude is 4.94.[1] Iit is a yellow giant of spectral type G8III that has swollen and cooled off the main sequence.[1] It shines with a luminosity approximately 195 times that of the Sun and has a surface temperature of 4972 K.[3]
