Hitchcock is an unincorporated community in Washington Township, Washington County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.[2]
History
Hitchcock was named for the local Hitchcock family, including William Hitchcock, who established the first store in the community.[3]
A post office was established at Hitchcock in 1858, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1900.[4]
