Delaware Park is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Lopatcong Township, in Warren County, New Jersey, United States, that was created as part of the 2010 United States Census.[8][9][10] As of the 2010 Census, the CDP's population was 700.[3]

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP had a total area of 0.246 square miles (0.637 km2), all of which was land.[1][11]

Census 2010

At the 2010 United States Census, there were 700 people, 265 households, and 195 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 2,848.2 per square mile (1,099.7/km2). There were 278 housing units at an average density of 1,131.1 per square mile (436.7/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.43% (675) White, 0.57% (4) Black or African American, 0.00% (0) Native American, 1.14% (8) Asian, 0.00% (0) Pacific Islander, 0.29% (2) from other races, and 1.57% (11) from two or more races. Hispanics or Latinos of any race were 5.71% (40) of the population.[3]

There were 265 households, of which 34.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.7% were married couples living together, 12.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 26.4% were non-families. 22.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.64 and the average family size was 3.11.[3]

In the CDP, 25.6% of the population were under the age of 18, 5.9% from 18 to 24, 23.3% from 25 to 44, 31.3% from 45 to 64, and 14.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 41.4 years. For every 100 females there were 96.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.3 males.[3]
