Daudkandi (Bengali: দাউদকান্দি) is an Upazila of Comilla District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.[1]
Geography
Daudkandi is located at 23°32′00″N 90°43′00″E / 23.5333°N 90.7167°E . It has 77,102 households and a total area of 376.23 km².
Demographics
According to the 1991 Bangladesh census, Daudkandi had a population of 458, 503. Males constituted 50.44% of the population, and females 49.56%. The population aged 18 or over was 215, 409. Daudkandi had an average literacy rate of 29.9% (7+ years), compared to the national average of 32.4%.[2]
