Caresana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Vercelli in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northeast of Turin and about 13 kilometres (8 mi) southeast of Vercelli. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,083 and an area of 23.7 square kilometres (9.2 sq mi).[1]
Caresana borders the following municipalities: Langosco, Motta de' Conti, Pezzana, Rosasco, Stroppiana, Villanova Monferrato.
