Broadway–City Hall is a station on the SkyTrain's Canada Line in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This station has a large double-height ceiling over the platform area.
The station is located at the intersection of Cambie Street and West Broadway, with its entrance at the southeast corner of the intersection. It serves a number of nearby landmarks: Vancouver City Hall, City Square Mall, Vancouver General Hospital and related facilities; as well as surrounding Fairview and Mount Pleasant neighbourhoods.
Services
The station is served by a number of bus routes, including the #9 trolleybus route providing east-west local service along Broadway, the #15 serving Cambie Street, and the 99 B-Line operating east to Commercial–Broadway station and west to the University of British Columbia (UBC).
If the Millennium Line is extended from its current terminus at VCC–Clark station west to Arbutus Street or UBC, this station will become a transfer point to the new service. A "knock-out" panel was installed on the station's mezzanine level to provide a cross connection to the Millennium Line platforms (either under 10th Avenue or under Broadway).
The Crossroads development on the northwest corner of Broadway and Cambie has been required by the City of Vancouver to provide space for an entrance to the Broadway–City Hall station. No funding exists to build this connection and it may be years before it is built.
