It was announced in January 13, 2012 that CMU Public Television, a Northern Michigan PBS network, would begin airing Ariel & Zoey & Eli, Too Thursdays at 5:00PM.[2] It was also announced that day that the State of Michigan had awarded the show an incentive for filming the third season in the state.[3]
Prior to shooting the first season of Ariel & Zoey & Eli, Too, the three spent the summer of 2009 performing free concerts at military bases. Over the following three months, the four recorded "Hey Bully!" [6] and four additional songs.[7]
