Agnew is an unincorporated community in Hopkins Township, Whiteside County, Illinois, United States. Agnew is located on the Union Pacific Railroad near U.S. Route 30, 5.4 miles (8.7 km) west of Sterling.[2]
The community bears the name of Lord D. Agnew, a railroad official.[3]
