Abádszalók is a town in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county, in the Northern Great Plain region of central Hungary.
Geography
It covers an area of 132.23 km2 (51 sq mi) and has a population of 5079 people (2009).
Tourism
- Lake Tisza
The biggest tourist attraction in Abádszalók is the Lake Tisza. It is beloved by lots of people from all over the world. Abádszalók is the best place in summer if you go on holiday in the east side of Hungary. You can take part in aquatic sports, like water skiing, boating, kayaking or discos, concerts and other programs. However you can find other possibilities to have a good time. What does it mean? If you like the nature, just walk around the beach and listen to the waterfowls, the aquatics and the water fauna of Lake Tisza.
