Świerże [ˈɕfjɛrʐɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dorohusk, within Chełm County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland, close to the border with Ukraine.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-west of Dorohusk, 19 km (12 mi) north-east of Chełm, and 82 km (51 mi) east of the regional capital Lublin.
The village has a population of 990.
