ζ Crucis (ζ Cru, Zeta Crucis) is a binary star in the constellation Crux. It has an apparent magnitude of 4.06m. The primary star is classified as a blue-white dwarf (spectral class B2.5 V). The secondary component is much fainter, with an apparent magnitude of 12.49.[9] ζ Crucis is located at about 360 light-years from the Sun.
