Match-fixing scandal
On 24 January 2011, Yeom joined Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors on a three-year contract,[1] but indicted for his involvement in the alleged match-fixing scandal on June 24. He admitted that he had involved in a league match-fixing and accepted a bribe a year ago.[2]
Consequently, Yeom was released from Jeonbuk and K-League.
