Yanglingang

Not to be confused with Yanglin'gang Village (杨林岗村) in Cangbu Subdistrict (仓埠街方), Xinzhou District, Wuhan, Hubei; or Yanglin'gang (洋林港) in Yanshan County, Shangrao, Jiangxi.

Yanglingang is a small fishing village located on the border between Shanghai and Jiangsu province, China.[1] The village has approximately fifty families,[2][3] who obtain their sustenance by fishing and obtaining drinking water from the Yangtze River, which has significant problems with pollution.[1][2] The village is "surrounded by power plants, paper-making factories, and chemical plants".[2] Village residents live on their boats.[3]
