World Population Conferences
- A World Population Conference was held in Geneva in August and September, 1927, organized by Margaret Sanger.
Under United Nations auspices, five World Population Conferences have been held. They are:
- First World Population Conference, August-September, 1954, Rome, Italy
- Second World Population Conference, August-September, 1964, Belgrad, Yugoslavia
- Third World Population Conference, August, 1974, Bucharest, Romania
- Fourth World Population Conference, August, 1984, Mexico City, Mexico
- Fifth World Population Conference, September, 1994, Cairo, Egypt.
