Kim Woo-jae (born 25 November 1979 in Seoul) is a South Korean professional ice hockey defenceman. A former graduate of Yonsei University, he debuted with Anyang Halla in 2002. After 4 seasons, he signed with Jokipojat Joensuu for the 2006–07 season. After one season in the Mestis league, he moved back to his old team.[1][2] He was named the team's captain in 2007. He is the 6th captain in the club's history. Kim was named the 2009 MVP for the Korea Domestic Championship.[3]
