Willie Levesque (born January 22, 1980) is a retired professional hockey player[1] from Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts.
Career
Willie Levesque played one season of junior hockey, splitting his time between the Under-18 National Team in the North American Hockey League and the National Team Development Team of Ann Arbor, Michigan in the United States Hockey League during the 1997-98 season. That season he committed to Northeastern University for the 1998-99 season.[2]
He was drafted by the San Jose Sharks in the 4th round of the 1999 NHL Draft[3][4] out of Northeastern University.[5]
Levesque competed in the 2000 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in Skelleftea, Sweden as a member of the United States men's national junior ice hockey team. Levesque would score in the bronze medal game they lost to Canada.[6]
Levesque never made it to the NHL, spending his career with the Cleveland Barons of the AHL[7][8][9] and Johnstown Chiefs of the ECHL.[10][11]
Levesque is now a chiropractor in Connecticut.[12]
