William Ambrose Wright

William Ambrose Wright (January 18, 1844 – September 13, 1929) was a soldier in the Army of the Confederate States of America, Comptroller General & Insurance Commissioner, 1879–1929, Lawyer, Lieutenant, Confederate States of America, and a Statesman. Born at Louisville, Georgia, he was honored for 50 years of service to the State as Comptroller General (the official responsible for Georgia's accounting activities).
His grave is located in Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta, GA. Grave photo and inscription
