Widhwidh, also known as Widh Widh, is a district in the northwestern Togdheer region of Somalia.
Overview
Part of the Ayn province's Buuhoodle District, the settlement is located 50 kilometres (31 mi) by road from Buuhoodle.[1][2]
Local control is by Khatumo State (formerly HBM-SSC or Hoggaanka Badbaadada iyo Mideynta SSC[3]).
The town was part of the 2010 Ayn clashes on 19 July 2010.[4]
Education
Widhwidh has a number of academic institutions. According to the Puntland Ministry of Education, there are 7 primary schools in the Widhwidh District. Among these are Geed-Dheer, Banyaal, Shululux and Widhwidh Primary
also there are two secondary schools also more pharmacies such as samatar pharmacy.[5]
