White Memorial Presbyterian Church
White Memorial Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, North Carolina is a PCUSA megachurch with approximately 4,000 members in 2012.[1] It was founded in 1946 by a group from the First Presbyterian Church in Raleigh. It was named for Rev. William McClanahan White, who was the pastor of First Presbyterian between 1908 and 1934. The church building was completed in 1949 at the present site. The first pastor was Rev. Dr. Charles Lynnwood Brown.[2]
The senior pastor is Rev. Christopher Edmonston, who has served the congregation since 2011.[3]
