West Michigan Lutheran High School is the only Lutheran high school in the Greater Grand Rapids, Michigan area.
It was started in the fall of 2004 with 10 students who were freshmen and sophomores. Its first location was in the Ministry Center Building of St. Mark Lutheran Church of Kentwood, Michigan.
In the spring of 2007, WMLHS held its first graduation. In 2009, 7 of the 9 graduates enlisted in the military.
WMLHS has graduates that have attended major colleges such as Michigan State University, Grand Valley State University, Hillsdale College, Concordia College of Wisconsin and Grand Rapids Community College.
