Waterford Union High School, more commonly known as Waterford High School, is a comprehensive public high school located in Waterford, Racine County, Wisconsin approximately 25 miles from downtown Milwaukee. Enrollment during the 2012-13 school year was 1100 students. [1]

Academics

A full range of courses from college prep to remedial is available. Waterford offers fifteen Advanced Placement courses and nine Honors/Advanced courses. Waterford Union High School has been educating students since 1904 and has undergone two recent major building projects, creating a low student-to-teacher ratio and broad-based curriculum to meet the individual needs of all students. Waterford students place above the state and national average in recent ACT test scores. The graduation rate is 95%, with about 75% of graduates pursuing some type of education after high school.[2]

Athletics

Waterford Union High School offers twenty different sports with a total of 48 teams in various sports such as basketball, cross-country, football, gymnastics, soccer and tennis. The school's athletic teams compete in the Southern Lakes Conference. [3]
