WYLF (850 AM) is a radio station broadcasting an Adult Standards/MOR format. Located near Penn Yan, New York, USA, the station serves the Rochester area. The station is currently owned by M B Communications, Inc.[2]
History
The station went on the air as WOZO on November 11, 1981, then changed callsigns to WQKA on July 23, 1984 and finally on October 1, 1988 to the current WYLF.[3] For a time, it has syndicated the Oldies/Standards format from Citadel Media's "Timeless" satellite feed, but due to its demise, it's provided locally since February 15, 2010.
