WLIS (1420 AM) is a radio station licensed to serve Old Saybrook, Connecticut. The station is owned by Crossroads Communications of Old Saybrook, LLC. It airs a Talk/Nostalgia format.[1] The station will add The Howie Carr Show on April 27, 2015.
The station has been assigned the WLIS call letters by the Federal Communications Commission since it was initially licensed.[2]
A pirate broadcaster unrelated to the licensed station has also used the call sign WLIS (We Love Interval Signals). The pirate station's programming consists of a collection of interval signals from other broadcasters around the world.
