History
WGGA first went on the air in 1941. After WCON 550 of The Atlanta Constitution signed off in 1953, due to The Atlanta Journal/Constitution merger, WGGA was awarded the 550 frequency. The station switched frequencies again with WDUN (on 1240) and it has been broadcasting on 1240 ever since.
