WCLU-FM (102.3 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an Adult Contemporary format. Licensed to Munfordville, Kentucky, USA, the station serves the Bowling Green area. The station is currently owned by Royse Radio, Inc.[2]

History

The station first signed on the air WCLU-FM on August 1, 1964.[3] The station's first callsign change took place on April 2, 1979, when the calls were changed to WLOC-FM to match that of then-sister station WLOC (AM).[4] It began broadcasting a Variety format, featuring a mix of country and adult contemporary music. The station became solely a Hot AC-formatted station when the callsign became WMCC on January 30, 1996.[4] The station reverted to its original WCLU-FM calls in May 1998, two months after being acquired by its current owner, Royse Radio, Inc. The purpose of the most recent callsign change was to match that of Glasgow-based sister station WCLU-AM. The adult contemporary format remained with the station.
