Vladimir Petrovich Rzhevsky (Russian: Владимир Петрович Ржевский; born July 19, 1987 in Zheleznovodsk, Soviet Union) is a Russian footballer who last played for FC Krylia Sovetov Samara in the Russian Premier League. Rzhevsky is a defender. On 13 August 2008, Rzhevsky scored the decisive goal for BATE Borisov against Levski Sofia in the Third Round Qualifying for the 2008-09 UEFA Champions League season, helping the Belarusians secure a 1:0 win in the match, which was played in Sofia. After a 1:1 draw in Barysaw, the Belarusian club progressed to the UEFA Champions League 2008-09 group stage for the first time in its history. Rzhevsky also played in Finland for JBK (Jakobstads BK) before he joined BATE in 2008.
