Vishnu Wagh

Vishnu Surya Naik Wagh is a Member of Legislative Assembly from St. Andre constituency of North Goa, India as a member of Bharatiya Janata Party. He is a poet, writer, dramatist, journalist, and management consultant/ trainer.[1][2]

Political career

After 14 years, of being a former general secretary and spokesperson of the Goa Pradesh Congress person, Vishnu Surya Wagh on 30 October 2011, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of senior BJP leaders — Laxmikant Parsekar, MP Shripad Naik, and Manohar Parrikar.[3]

He won the Goa Legislative Assembly election, 2012 with a margin of 1219 votes from Constituency Number 14, St. Andre Constituency - consisting of the 7 villages of Goa Velha (St Andre), Azossim-Mandur, Neura, Batim, Agacaim (St Lawrence), Pale-Siridao and Curca-Bambolim-Telaulim.[4]

Since 14-01-2016, he is the Deputy Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly.[5]
