Virgin peaks
A virgin peak is a mountain that has not yet been climbed by any mountaineer so far. There are a lot of virgin peaks in Himalayas as the climate is too harsh and inhospitable conditions prevail because of political conditions in the region.
From a lot of aspects virgin peaks provide challenges to the climbers and mountaineering enthusiasts. A list of commonly attested virgin peaks is as follows:
