Vinnex

VinnEX is a simulated real-time Virtual Stock Market Game (National Stock Exchange of India and NYSE). It was developed by Gaurav Sharma and Manan K Shah,[1][2] and was put on the internet by a group of students from NIT Warangal.[3] during the technical fest of NIT Warangal called technozion under the event name karobar.Since then Vinnex has collaborated with over 15 universities including Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur,[4] Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani – Goa Campus,[5] Symbiosis Institute of Business Management,various NITs and other engineering colleges.

The first Vinnex International Championship was held in 2009 with students participating from over 100 universities worldwide.The winner for the same was Digvijay Verma from BITS Pilani.

In the month of October, Vinnex was named the website of the month by Computer Active[6]
