V4046 Sagittarii is young T Tauri binary consisting of two G V stars surrounded by a massive protoplanetary disk where gas giants are thought to have formed. Stars A and B orbit each other in 2.44 days in circular orbits, leading to the conclusion that terrestrial planets may also form in the habitable zone around these stars.
