United States v. Brawner

United States v. Brawner, 471 F.2d 969 (1972), is a criminal case in which the Durham rule for determining a defendant was not guilty by reason of insanity was abandoned.[1][2]:634 It proposed a rule that was adopted as the American Law Institute Model Penal Code rule (ALI rule).[1]
