U.S. China Policy Foundation

The U.S. China Policy Foundation (USCPF) is an American non-governmental organization that works to improve United States-China relations. The group believes that specific misunderstandings and mis-perceptions within both countries inhibit co-operation, and it seeks to discuss those.[1] The group states that it does not advocate foreign policy decisions and does not try to influence government decisions.[2]

Activities and history

The late American ambassadors John H. Holdridge and Arthur Hummel, Jr. founded the group with Chi Wang in 1995.[1][3] Throughout the 1990s and onwards, it assisted American businesses trying to work with the Chinese.[4]
