In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, the tween is a type of extraplanar creature.
Publication history
The tween first appeared in White Dwarf #8 (August 1978). The tween appeared in the original first edition Fiend Folio (1981).[1]
The tween appeared in second edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons in the Monstrous Compendium Fiend Folio Appendix (1992).[2] The tween appeared for the Planescape setting in the Guide to the Ethereal Plane (1998).[3]
Description
A tween is an invisible, incorporeal creature that forms a symbiotic relationship with another creature.
