Truman is a 2015 Spanish-Argentine comedy-drama film directed by Cesc Gay[3] and co-written by Gay and Tomàs Aragay. The film stars Ricardo Darín, Javier Cámara, and Dolores Fonzi.
It was screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival and in the Official Section of the 2015 San Sebastián International Film Festival, where it was awarded the Silver Shell for Best Actor for Darín and Cámara.[4][5] It won five Goya Awards, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Actor (Darín), and Best Supporting Actor (Cámara).[6]
Plot
Julián receives the unexpected visit of his friend Tomás, who lives in Canada. The two friends, along with Truman, the former's loyal dog, will share emotional and surprising moments during four intense days, caused by Julián's complicated situation.
