Triip
Triip.me is a website where tourists can book local experiences such as tours and excursions directly from the local people.[1] It allows anybody with a tour idea to create their own package and sell to interested tourists.[2] It currently offers more than 5,000 products in 600 destinations around the world.[3] Triip simplifies and localizes travel experience. It provides access to a variety of travel inspirations offered and guided by the [wikt:locals|[local]]s and through that helps preserve different distinctive cultures.[4][5]
Company history
Founded in 2013, the website is owned by the Asia-based startup company Triip[6][7] The company has two major competitors in this market, Viator and Withlocals.[8][9][10][11][12]
