Trentinara is a town and comune near Paestum in the province of Salerno in the Campania region of south-western Italy. As of 2011 its population was of 1,769.
Geography
The municipality, located in northern Cilento, borders with Capaccio, Cicerale, Giungano, Monteforte Cilento and Roccadaspide. The place is well known for its magnificent view and landscape, and it is often referred to as "The Cilento's Terrace". The visual scenery comprises most of northern Cilento, including its coastline and extends all the way to the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento and Capri.
