Transcom WorldWide AB is a "global customer experience specialist", i.e. a debt collection agency, providing customer care, sales, technical support and collections services through an extensive network of contact centers and work-at-home agents.

The company operates in Europe, North and South America, Asia and North Africa. Transcom employs 30,000 customer experience specialists at 52 contact centers across 21 countries, delivering services in 33 languages to international brands in various industry verticals. Johan Eriksson was appointed President & CEO in November 2011. Transcom Worldwide was redomiciled from Luxembourg to Sweden at the end of 2014. In March 2015, Kinnevik sold its remaining shares in Transcom to Altor.

Transcom WorldWide is present in 52 contact centers in the following countries: Canada, Chile, Croatia, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Perú, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Tunisia, United Kingdom, and the United States .[1] On January 19, 2016 Transcom announced that because of significant losses, it would be pulling out of Colombia and considering options for Chile & Peru.[2]

Acquisitions

On 27 August 2007, Transcom announced that it had acquired 100% of NuComm International for $90 million CAD (€63 million). An initial payment of $50 million CAD (€35 million) was paid with the remainder being subject to a two tier earn-out ending in December 2008. The earn-out was based on a multiple of operating profit, capped at a maximum of 9x EBIT for the complete deal.

NuComm had revenues of $122 million CAD (€85 million) for the twelve months ended 31 July 2007. Réal Bergevin, the founder and CEO of NuComm, signed a contract to remain with the business under the new ownership.[3]
