Tour du Valat

Tour du Valat is a research centre dedicated to the study and conservation of Mediterranean wetlands. It is located in the Camargue and was founded by Luc Hoffmann in 1954. The Tour du Valat Estate which includes all the natural habitats representative of the Camargue with its rivers and wetlands, extends over an area of 2 600 hectares.
