Tinaa dattaa is a film and television Indian actress. She played the role of Ichcha Veer Singh Bundela in a daily Hindi soap opera Uttaran which aired on Colors TV for more than 6 years (2008-2015). In 2010, her role as Ichcha Veer Singh Bundela earned her Producers Guild Film Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series.
Career
At the age of 5, Dattaa acted in a television serial called Sister Nivedita ,[3] which was in 1992 and soon started acting in films where she played the heroine’s daughter in Pita Matar Santaan, Dus Number Bari, Sagarkanya, and many more. She acted in Bengali television soaps like Khela where she played a thug whom Dipankar De hires to spy on his daughters-in-law, Sudipta and Durga.[4]
Dattaa acted in Rituparno Ghosh's 2003 movie Chokher Bali at age of 16 alongside Aishwarya Rai. She later played the role of young Lolita in the 2005 Hindi movie Parineeta.[5]
Dattaa played a role of black magic victim in one of the stories of Koi Aane Ko Hai on Colors TV. Later Dutta got the lead role on the Hindi show Uttaran on Colors TV as Ichcha Veer Singh Bundela, as well as that of her on screen daughter.[6]
